AnatQuest is a database for high resolution (4096 x 2048 x 24 bits) cryosectional color images of the human anatomy, as well as for 3D rendered images of anatomic objects created from cryosectional images (cross-sections or slices).
CervigramFinder is a Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) tool with color, texture, shape, and location based CBIR functions that operate on a subset of the cervigram image collection. Given a query region marked by a user, the system can retrieve important cervix tissue regions that are similar to the query region with respect to image features listed above as well as any expert-annotated regions.
DocMorph is a web site that provides a useful information conversion service to the public while at the same time allowing NLM’s Communications Engineering Branch to investigate new image and information processing algorithms to find those that are fast, reliable and useful for the biomedical library community.

Interactive Publications (IP) is a tool that allows one to view an IP. An IP is a self-contained multimedia document, which, in addition to presenting a study and its results, provides access to the underlying data and a possibly to manipulate the data, thus becoming a research tool.
Medical Article Records Groundtruth (MARG)
MARG is a freely-available repository of document page images and their associated textual and layout data. The data has been reviewed and corrected to establish its “ground truth”. Research in document image analysis and understanding is greatly facilitated by such repositories for the design, training, and testing of algorithms for data identification and extraction.

Spine Pathology and Image Retrieval System (SPIRS)
SPIRS (Spine Pathology & Image Retrieval System) demonstrates recent developments in shape representation and retrieval from a large data-set of 17,000 digitized x-ray images of the spine and associated text records from the Second National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES II).
